The power of not knowing

It all began with not knowing.
Chloe thought she didn't know how to take pictures, so she asked me to take my camera with me to Banaba.
The kids didn't know if they're getting new shirts after Ondoy, so they asked me.
I didn't know, so I asked Chloe.
Chloe didn't know if there'd be money left for school uniforms, since rebuilding houses and livelihoods was the priority.
I didn't know if my friends would help, so I asked them.
They've been wanting to help but didn't know how, so I told them about the small community.
Thus began Project Banaba. It all began in November 2009.

I am convinced we're moving forward because we have no idea what our limitations are.
That is the power of our not knowing.
This blog is all about how we are learning while helping, one step at a time.
Come join us in this journey.
